Simple hatchback
This Eclipse came to me with a spaghetti pile of wires and air hoses in the back, once I tore out all that this is what became of it. The tire well now holds a pair of Alpine Type R 12" subs, Alpine amps above them with the back seat area being used for the equiptment needed for the air suspension system. |
Notice the AudiOriginals logo, a must have item.

The hatch
The subwoofers and amplifiers were both mounted on polished plexiglass with neon mounted behind to allow a red glow. Above the amprack notice a removable panel with the raised logo of the owner's car club, the panel allows access to the rear mounted battery, fuses etc.

The backseat area is reserved for the air suspension equiptment. The rear panel with raised Mitsubishi logo is removable to allow access to the air valves and tubing. Below the compressor and air tank are mounted to a fiberglass tub. (note temporary wood mounting plate under air tank in place only for photos as the proper bolts were not in stock at time of pictures).

Amprack
Red LEDs were place inside the amps to shine out the fans, as well as red and white LEDs under the top amp. The bottom amps were also raised up to allow red LEDs to be placed under them and shine out. |
